PRINT HC 'SKIPPING GIRL SUNSET SKY' A3
This heritage-listed neon sign is part of the cultural fabric of Melbourne. Built in the mid-’30s, the neon ‘skipping rope’ was illuminated in four sequential positions to give the appearance of her skipping rope, while the horizontal neon tubes beneath her would also illuminate in an up and down vertical sequence to mimic her jumping up and down.
