Welcome to... seven pages!

Welcome to our first ever blog entry for... seven pages! Two sleeps to go until we get the key to our shop!!! We are super excited and exhausted all at the same time.  

So who are we and how did "seven pages" come about?  Well, we are three women, Ann-Maree, Susan & Max who create our own handcrafted goodness....and through coffee, conversation, dreams and aspirations we formed seven pages, a new business wanting to specialize in selling a range of eclectic handcrafted objects of desire.

Why seven pages I hear you ask?  Three pages didn't sound enough and by seven pages into a book you know whether you want to read on or not.  

Why the number Seven? Seven is such a natural number; seven days of the week, seven natural wonders of the world, there are seven continents, seven seas, seven is the pH balance for water and a musical scale has seven notes.

Why pages –you can turn, touch, look, read, leaf through pages or even beckon someone.

So that is what we are about and how we came up with our name.  We will continue to keep you updated with our "seven pages" adventure in between sourcing and handcrafting "our objects of desire" and hopefully provide you with some wonderful unique and interesting items.
