Meet the Maker - Lisa Hass - Metro Art & Design

We first saw Lisa's work locally at Burrinja Gallery; we contacted her, met and fell in love...with her passion, ceramic products and creative spririt!

Lisa has always had a passion for art and design, she is a qualified graphic designer and teacher of Art & Visual Communication and Design. 

She discovered the beauty of porcelain several years ago.  She adores it’s pure almost translucent body, understated strength and beautiful smooth finish.  Lisa predominantly works with locally sourced Southern Ice porcelain which is  internationally renowned for its superior quality and strength.

Inspired by the vibrant urban landscape of the City of Melbourne and found objects in nature Lisa creates stunning hand crafted designs highlighting the fusion of contemporary style with an organic feel.  Her product range includes vases, cups, rings, earrings, necklaces & gift tags.
